Coasties has been postponed to 25th March

2012. Entries now close 16th March 2012.

It’s time again. Coasties 2012 is just around the corner. If you haven’t started to shoot your film, now is the time. Entries for Coasties 2012 close on Friday the 16th March and Early Bird entries close on Friday the 2nd March.

This year we have added an extra category for a greater chance to win. The categories this year are;

• Primary School under 5 mins
• Secondary School under 5 mins
• Open category under 10 mins
• Open category under 100 seconds
• Seniors (Over 55) under 10 mins

As one of the most well recognised and well regarded film critics in Australia, we are very proud to have as our Patron, Margeret Pomeranz. Margeret was awarded the Australia Medal for her services to the film industry as a critic and reviewer, promoter of Australian content and advocate for freedom of expression in film. Margeret has been extremely encouraging throughout the embryonic stage of the festival.
